The Department of Foreign Languages hosts many activities and events to promote language learning and the sharing of culture. Among the many events hosted are the annual Colloquium on Film and Literature, International Festival for area students, various language program events such as German Oktoberfest, Italian food and culture events, Japanese crafts and culture activities, language tables and conversation groups for each program area, guest speakers on language, literature, and cultural topics.
